When it comes to weight loss there is no one magic solution. As great as moringa is, simply adding it to a poor diet by itself it is not enough to help you achieve your weight loss goals. Research is Promising

As of now there have been no human studies focused solely on moringa’s effectiveness for weight loss. It has been demonstrated in a study with animals that moringa can inhibit lipogenesis (fat formation), but more research is needed to determine if this translates to people.

A separate study of 41 obese people on the same diet and exercise program was done where one group took a combination of moringa, tumeric and curry vs a placebo group. The results showed the group taking the combination lost more weight than the placebo group. Another similar study of 130 obese individuals also showed those in the supplement group lost more weight vs the placebo group and decreased their bad cholesterol (LDL) level. While these studies could not conclude that moringa was directly responsible for the weight loss, they are certainly promising and support moringa as part of a nutritional weight loss program.

While moringa has not been directly linked to weight loss, it is still a superfood than can help achieve weight loss goals. It is a highly nutritious, low calorie superfood that contributes in the following ways:
